Happening lately

Just a quick little update on the things we have been up to lately today.  And I actually have some good pictures to share because I finally took the plunge and got a DSLR camera to take better pictures with!!  Since I had no idea what I was looking for, I just went with whatever the guy at Best Buy sold me, but I'm loving it so far and am amazed that I am getting pictures of my kids that are not just blurs of their shapes.  

First, the beautiful weather we have been having (most of the time!) has us spending so much time outside.  We bought a water and sand table and the kids are loving it!  If we can just keep Landry from eating the sand we will be doing great.  

And we are getting tons of use out of Santa's gift, Carters little Razor.  I think Landry Kate likes riding more than Carter likes driving...and that's a lot! :)  They have so much fun riding around the yard and it is too cute to listen to Carter's conversations with her!  

And last weekend, my cousin Madison got married.  We had the kids spend the night with Brent's parents since the wedding started late and Brent and I both gave out communion during Mass.  She made a beautiful bride and Brent and I thoroughly enjoyed our night!

And this weekend, we have my sister Claire's prom and Mother's Day, so it will be another busy one, I'm sure!  Today, Carter and Landry gave me some pretty flowers and we took some gifts to my mom.  We will be sure to drag out the festivities all weekend! :)
