Mother's Day 2016

Our Mother's Day was spent running around like crazy people.  We went to early Mass and watched Brent's cousin's little baby girl be baptized, then went home for a bit to play outside.  Then it was off to both of Brent's granny's houses for a couple hours each to visit them and his mom.  We came back home to let Landry get a couple of hours of sleep, then it was off to stop by to see my Dad & stepmom for a bit before heading to my mom's for supper.  I am truly so thankful for all of those moms in our lives to help guide us through life, but it will sure wear a girl out trying to go visit them all in one day!  ;)
I left the camera at home during the first half of our day, but I grabbed it on the way out the door to my dad's house.  I had to get a few pics of my dad and Ann and the kids checking out my dad's massive garden that is starting to grow.

Then I got some fun ones out back at my mom's house while we played while the men were finishing getting the meat off the grill.  I think Landry Kate is a little younger version of my youngest sister Raylee, so I love pictures of them together!

And our cousin Bailey is back for the summer from college at UK.  She is so good with the kids...it's always so good to have her home!

And a little Mother's Day picture with my mom and the kids who made me a mom. Love them with all my heart!

Somehow, over the weekend, I managed to finish my end table I had been working on for awhile.  We have been working on the living room (new carpet, furniture, paint and curtains so far) and I really wanted my end table that I had originally...except it was red.  So I re-chalk painted it with Annie Sloan's duck egg blue and I'm loving it!
Up next is getting something up on those walls!
