Our sweet girl turned 9 months old on October 1st. How that much time has passed so quickly, I have no idea?! I'm late as usual, but here is all about her at nine months old.
We got in our last swim at Grumps & Ninny's pool just before Labor Day. Little miss loved splashing around even if the water was a bit cool! We finished off our Labor Day weekend with our St. Louis trip to the zoo and Cards game. Landry loved the monkeys at the zoo and was a trooper through the crazy heat at the game.

We spent tons of time outside, per the usual! Carter wouldn't allow anything different. Thankfully, Landry Kate is quite the fan of the outdoors. When we walk to the door to go outside, her little legs get to kicking and her excitement shows.

When she is allowed to crawl/play in the grass and dirt, she is the happiest. She loves to pick up a big handful of dirt and then let it drop bit by bit until it is gone, then do it all over again. Thankfully, she won't try to eat dirt, but grass and leaves or any other thing is a different story!

We also spent some time at Aunt Claire and Raylee's volleyball games. Those are interesting, to say the least. Two kids, ages two and 8/9 months, in a gym where they can't really get down and play in the floor is a recipe for disaster. But we managed, and now volleyball is almost over for the season. Hopefully, next year (which will be Claire's senior year) will go better!

Overall, Landry is a very content, good-natured girl. She is very go-with-the-flow for the most part. But she does have a temper that shows itself occasionally and she will let the real tears fall if she doesn't get what she wants sometimes. She is a tough little thing, too. Carter can be a little rough on her, but she takes it like a champ and yet still adores him! The next picture is so blurry, but I just can't help but love their faces in it!

She is still on the same eating and sleeping schedule as last month. She has been sleeping at night pretty well. Some nights she will fight it and cry or whine for a bit before going down, but she typically sleeps through the night except for occasional wake ups for a pacifier.

Little miss has the same two bottom teeth she has had for months, although there are about 4 on top and 2 on bottom that look like they could bust through anyday now. This month has been pretty easy on teething, so I fully expect all hell to break loose soon! She had her nine month checkup last Friday around 9.5 months. These were her stats: 18 pounds 12 ounces (around the 60th percentile), 26 1/8 inches long (still in that 4th percentile for length!) and a head circumference of 17. She is still wearing size three diapers and some 9 month clothing, but we are starting to mix in the 12 month and 12-18 month clothes. We really need to get the girl a pair of shoes!!
Loving: Ranger rides, her brother, starting to be a mamas girl and prefer me over everyone else (not complaining!), animals, bathtime, climbing stairs, acting shy around new people.
Hates: Being still for clothes/diaper changes, being lotioned up after bath.

Both of your children are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a rockstar for being a pumping, working mom! I'm sure you are ready to pack that pump away.
ReplyDeleteShe is such a doll!!! And I'm glad to hear Nash isn't the only one who's constantly going for the toilet. Yuck! Happy 9 months, Landry!
