Eleven Months with Landry

Yep, that's the best I could do this month! :(
My sweet little Landry Kate turned 11 months old on December 1st...now that we are officially one week til this little miss turns ONE, it's now or never for this post!!  Things have been wild with the holidays, so I am way behind, but here it is.
Momma's shopping buddy!
This month hasn't been a big one in the way of physical milestones, but little miss sure has worked hard on popping a mouth full of teeth in during it.  She started the month with only the two bottom teeth that she has had for months, and ended it with eight!  She now has four on top and four on bottom.  We definitely had our fair share of nightly wake ups from the teething pain, but really, it could have been so much worse!

She is super in to pointing, clapping, and waving this month.  And we are getting lots of the sweetest belly laughs!! She is also really mimicking most everything we say.  Of course, she has "mama', "dada" ,"byebye", "bubba", and "baby" down, but she is also saying "hi" and "puppy" and "bird" and lots of other random words when she hears them.

Landry is continually trying to crawl up the stairs and seems to catch us every time we leave the gate unlocked on accident. She is also loving opening cabinets and drawers and pulling everything last thing out of them.  And if you take her away from the stairs or cabinet/drawer, get ready for a screaming fit!!  I dread her terrible twos/threes!  And the Christmas tree, I'm just not sure how it has survived!! She is constantly into it and the presents and you just can't get her mind off of them.  Poor girl got a few too many little hand "spankings" over them.

She is still pretty happy going to just about anyone...no real stranger danger yet. She is really into pointing to who she wants now and sometimes gets passed around constantly because she will point (and basically leap) back and forth a million times.

I have cut back my pumping at work to once a day and have been giving her a bottle of pumped milk and a bottle of milk thawed from the freezer stash.  I am well on my way to not having to pump at work.  The plan is to start giving her some whole milk at 11.5 months.
LOL her newest face when she sees a camera flash!  And she loves her baby dolls!
She is loving eating new things, and is usually happiest if she sees the food coming directly from my plate.  Even if she is eating the same thing as me, she will cry for whatever is on my plate!  And no spoon feeding this one, she wants to do it all herself!!  She is basically eating any and everything we are eating which is making meal times a lot more manageable.  She is loving a sippy of juice with supper, but she is still pretty bad about dripping it all over herself.
Laughing at bubba!
Our little Lu-girl is wearing size 3 diapers and 12-18 months clothes. She is in size 2, maybe 3 in shoes but we don't ever wear any shoes besides moccs (which she wears a 0-6 month in!!!) so who cares?!  She is really starting to lose the baby chunkiness which is breaking my heart.
The biggest event this month was celebrating her first Thanksgiving.  She loved all of the food!  Lots of sides meant lots of good, healthy choices for her and she took advantage and chowed down.  We are always really, really busy running around from one place to the next on the holidays, but she went with the flow and napped in the car when she could and was a really good girl for us.
Checking out Thanksgiving ads!
