The Stress of Selling a House

We finally had our first house showing this past weekend and an offer on it very soon after.  However, it was not for even close to what we wanted, so we have been stuck in this process of offer/counteroffer/offer/counteroffer that is about to make me crazy!  


Since we have only owned our house for about three years, we don't have much equity in it, so every little bit makes a big difference in how much we will be able to put down on our next house.  Not to mention we have to consider the realtor's fee in there as well!  


Brent is chomping at the bit to get our house sold so we can move, so he is definitely being more lenient than I am!  We put it on the market for exactly the price we wanted at the advice of our realtor, and now we are down quite a bit from that point.  But since Brent is so anxious that we may not have another buyer anytime soon, he is comfortable counteroffering a better deal than I am!  All this money talk really has me on edge and I am beyond ready to have all this behind us!


Hopefully the buyers will take the counteroffer Brent has made and we can just be finished with all this mess and move on!
